This Sunday was a very special day as we welcomed esteemed religious leaders in 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧, 𝐇𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐦 based in Taunggyi, the capital city of Shan State, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Together, we planted over a hundred trees as a symbol of peace, harmony, and unity that are at the heart of shared humanity at SSBU.

This thoughtful and inspiring act reminds us that just as a tree 🌳 grows stronger when its roots are united, our community too flourishes when we stand together with mettā (loving-kindness), karuṇā (compassion), empathy, and mature respect.
